I have infinity reference components and they sound like trash. I am using a MTX amp that puts out 37 watts RMS I have around 200 dollars for an upgrade. Should I upgrade the speakers or the amp? The speakers can take 90RMS.
Infinity Reference components aren't the greatest, but they don't (or shouldn't) sound like trash. You can try the amp, also check imaging, etc. They like more power, too. That'll open up the full range a lot better.
