I got a friend who has some 9515's w/fresh recones.Did a pefrect job onem since he competed with them for a while and blew and rebuilt many.anyways,he said he would break up a pair if i wanted 1 but ive only got 1215rms at 1 ohm.I could sell my current subs which are bnib on craigs or ebay for the same price as the 9515.oh yaa, they are p3 12s.im gonna sellem either way,but was really interested in the dd.can i do like 5cubes w/80 or so in of port to gain some efficiancy on the dd,or just get a new aq hd3?the 9515 just gets me all excited an stuff.

The 9515 will be just fine on ~1200wrms...they are actually rated 1500wrms, but can handle ALOT more clean power than that.

Just keep the power clean and you will be fine. 9500's are pretty dam efficient, to it will get pretty loud.

thanks canaan,im not doin any all out spl,i just want it LOW,LOW,LOW,like my aq15 2.5 seemed to be audibly most impressive at 28hz.it was great!box was tuned at 36 though.it was in my blowthru in reg cab s10.may boot the back window and put the dd up level w/ top of bed rail firing up sealed off to the cab and build an enlosure over the box and make it kinda like a hatchback inside the bed/camper shell.

A 9515 will be fine on that power. It will show it's true potential on 2kw+ though.
