ALMOST any sub can perform well given the right power and more importantly a good enclosure. Which model pyramids do you have? That kicker 750.1 would be an excellent amp if you can fit it in your budget. New member Username: Hqh17US Post Number: 8 Registered: Dec-07 | i have a pair of PWRD12s any chance i could get a little more power for the money than the kicker? i was sort of looking at the Lanzar HTG264. ive heard mixed reviews about Lanzar. i was thinking the vibe 286 until i read the manual. on Lanzar's website they say it does 2 x 1000 watts rms at 4 ohms but the manual says 2 x 300 watts rms at 4 ohms. i then checked the manual for the Heritage line and the HTG264 matches what they said on the website: 2 x 600 watts rms at 4 ohms thoughts? |

He's got Pyramids, you guys... the LAST thing he needs is to give them unneccessary heat. Come on now... will the pro's please step forward? I haven't read up on my s,h,i,t for a looooong time - but I do know you can get better than Hifonics. You need durability and efficiency in an amp. TELL ME I'M WRONG. Problem is... I couldn't tell you where to turn, because... well... I'll be the first to admit: I'm behind in the times. As a matter of fact, check out my thread titled "replacing stolen amps" - I need an update on the best bang for my buck. I'm looking for a mono block that's 1 ohm stable (or better). In Norway it cost 1000,- norwegian kroner. one dollar=6 Nkroner so it wil fit in his 180Dollar budget,since it wil be cheeper in the US. Norway is a high kost land. |

If so you can get something pretty good for $180 just take a look on caraudio.com and you should be able to find something that fits your budget and is of good quality. |
