After looking on the Mach 5 web site,I saw the Maw 12. Anyone here have any experience with how they sound? I am thinking about putting 4 of them in the wife's car.
I have one. They are hard to beat for the money. There was a good comparison test on more expensive drivers and the MAW-12 tied or beat it. Not going to win an SPL competitions, but can get loud with out needing loads of power. If you were to get 4 of them, anything between 1000-1500 watts is plenty.
I have two and I absolutely love 'em. On an Earthquake D-10 at 4 ohms, in 4 cubes ported at ~33 Hz. They sound awesome for jazz or when I want to listen to music to enjoy the music, and get loud enough to flex my door a half inch when I feel the need. As Denim said, you won't beat them for the price.
