first thing i would do would be to find a carrier that will be faithful to any damage that they may cause to the product...Because it will be a hassle if they break something..:-(

the link jesse offered. thats what I did when I sent out my hd3's. Got there safely. Also theres a big block of foam like 2x4ft and 2" thick at home depot near the roofing section. I used that for top and bottom.

It can be a pain but I've learned to save the carton the sub comes in. I throw it up in the attic or someplace. Who knows better how to ship a sub than the manufacturer?

Assuming you buy it new.

throw a piece of 1/2" MDF on the bottom of the box under the motor.. then over that line foam.. pool noodles w/e.. then finish it up like i boxed up the subs i sold you

since the sub is heavy i'd get a slightly larger box and line it with foam.. you can get sheets of it from home depot or lowers.. and well box you box :-)

if the boxes you use are not double/triple walled be sure to thicken the insides before boxing.. or just get some good boxes from the start
