ok well i've been trying to find some new subs for my friend since his 12's got stolen a while back, but i have been busy with exams and haven't gotten around to finding him a new sub and box.. but last night i was in his car and i realized that he has no bass at all(speakers create no bass)... so now i decided to start looking again for his sake.... so he had 2 12" jbl gto's and has a jbl GTO 301.1 now if you guys have any recommendations of something that would be better then those 2 12's that would be great i think the dimensions he has to use is like 17x22x32..... and its a toyota camry... thanks

oh and when i was looking for a single 15" that had around the 300 rms zone at 2 ohms i couldn't find one.. like they are all rated for 4 ohms:-( and that would mean i could only run 200 watts:-( at 4 ohms:-(

specs on the amp is 300rms @ 2 ohms or 200 @ 4 ohms... and it doesnt have to be a 15"... could be 6 8" subs... like heck as long as its louder then the 2 12"s but still sounds good.

Lol. Well they're only rated at 100w and two is all you can wire to get 2ohm load. They'd be over powered.

You could try a series/parallel wiring with 4 subs but then they'd be underpowered.
