I am thinking about building a box in the style of the jl audio ho boxes(speakers inside the slot port) for my 2 kicker L5 10s. does anyone know if the port calculations are the same as with a regular slot port or are they special? thanks ahead of time
JL does a sh!t ton of research to develop their stuff. Building a box that just looks like the W7 HO box for your subs will not produce the same result.
i dont know if it gave calculations...but i found ALL the patent info for evey single one of those boxes...ill try to find the link
search in google images the box you want...get one of the links that shows the patent number..search that patent number in google and you will find a site that you need to sign up for to see the info (free) then you get get pics and info about all JL's patented stuff
