rca cables run from the back of your headunit to the amp.

RCA Cables send a signal (like your music) from the headunit to your amp to make the music play and go boom boom.

The kicker amp kit should come with power wire, speaker wire, and RCAs.
But IMO, the knuknonceptz would most likely be allot cheaper.

Do you need everything? How much power are you running and what car?

You will need:

Power wire/ Ground wire (From battery to amp/ amp to body of car)
RCA's (From head unit to amp)
Remote wire (From head unit to amp{turn on/off amp})
Speaker wire (From amp to subs)
and stuff like terminal rings, fuses, fuse holder, etc... (Everything thats NOT wire)

i have a 94 corolla, i am going to be running a 1606D hifonics amp, with 2 alpine type R 12" 4 ohm subs.

I will be running about 3000 watts. (about 40.1 volts)

so far I know im getting 1/0 guage kicker amp kit wiring. I think that is called the power/ground wire.

The rest i dont know about, ill just get any kind of speaker wire, and probably kicker rca cable.

IS the remote wire a must? If not i think i got everything covered (not including fuses etc.)

chad your not gonna be running 3000watts lol, y do you keep thinking that? the most you will be running is 1600 watt if even that because Hifonics amps are over rated. and have you ever thought that your stock alt is not going to be able to handle that power? lol esp a corolla they only have 80amps alt because i myself have a toyota too but camry.....

That amp will do 1300-1400 rms at 1 ohm.

And don't refer to max power, it means nothing.

V.T, second link, the first one was error.

Anyway, yea it only 130 amps, i was reading. It said that there arent many bigger alts than that for a corolla.

Check this vid out, buddy is pounding his car. He got the exact same amp, the exact same subs, and the exact same car.
SO it cant be too hard

good stuff...yea man toyota is hard to find a H/O alt for i myself like i said b4 have a 99 camry but im only runnin my HDC315 off a zx1000.1 off my stock alt and its fine. and also its not only the sub/amp that makes the setup loud the box is a big factor too, and also what you get it tuned at. so that guy probably had a good setup.

yea it sounded mint. I am getting my box built at my local audio shop. Im a little worried about that because im not experienced in any way at that stuff, so its kind of all in there hands.

Any tips on what to look for in a box? I knwo so far i want a ported box, i know its got to be big enough and have good seal. How big should it be to get the max pound out of those 2 alpine subs?
