Car speakers are combinations of tweeters and mid bass woofers+ resistors used as crossovers, components come separately as a set of tweeters , a set of mid bass woofers and a stand alone crossover.

here are two links so you can compare them. notice how the car speaker is an all in one package.

A HECK of alot better. I would suggest that anyone who needs to upgrade their factory sound choose component set ups. The difference is not just night and day, but being on the surface of the sun or on pluto (not a planet now , so sad)

From what I have heard 6.5 components sound best so if your car takes 6x9 speakers you can buy speaker adapters to make the 6.5 fit thts what I had to do.
