It's not pay to play aside from buying the game initially. After that there's no BS monthly fees. It's nothing like WoW or World Of Warcraft aside from character models used and names of skills and abilites. It's completely different game play. It's somewhat similar to command and conquer and Starcraft is basically the same thing but different in ways. There's also no versions that you can DL that work as far as I know but I haven't used Torrents to try and DL the game. I can get CD keys that work online for free but you'd still need a way of getting the game.
