I haven't had one but my friend did. Was a 325es, i want to say '85. Lasted forever but those things are damn expensive to maintain. Not worth it if you ask me.

you're both wrong... it's bavarian motor works... regardless... that looks like a 5 series to me and i personally don't like the old body style, but hey that's just me. my sister has an 05 325i and it's nice... drives really well too.. i test drove a 5 series before i got my denali and it was a very nice ride... too bad we couldn't step up 10 more grand to get it

my uncle has a 02 525i manual transmission. that car is sick. he hasn't had much problem with it. bmw's are built like a rock. only thing that bothers him is the stupid "check engine" light that comes on. it will cost him $150+ to have the dealer shut it off. so he drives around with it on cause his mechanic already did a check on his car and nothing is wrong.

theres no 800 series? theres the alpina b7 (we have just 1 at my work, cause i work at bmw), which is practically a 7 series, just with all different interior and the v12 thing (760s have a v12 also)...but most definitly no 800 series
