Yes they are,
These subwoofers excell in Sound Quality. They sound amazing in small sealed or small ported boxes. We Will be taking a pre order on them until Christmas. The Pre order prices is 250.00
The reg. price will be around 425-449

We tryed to use dual 1" tall magnets and then dual 1.25 tall magnets but both we bottoming out. To give you a little idea on the Excursion on this subwoofer. We ended up with THREE 1" tall magnets and a 25 mm t-yoke. The Copper shorting ring help eliminate distortion.
The FS is 23hz BRIB once they break in you are looking at a 12" with an FS around 15-16hz.

I have the elite SPL v.2 now. A few people already got them, The FS on them will range between 40-60HZ depending on what suspention you want us to use. We can make them handle 6000/7500/10k burps to what you need them to do. They are nasty in SPL to say the least. We will have a guy breaking 160db with a TL here in a stock vehicle with in a week or so with 3 15"

For 2008 the Elite will just be 10/12" the reason is these are PURE Sound Quality. We plan on getting them put against all the BIG SQ drivers in a few months. In all my time in owning shops and owning RD i have never heard a better sounding subwoofer in the 1000 watt range.
I am building a V shaped wall in my tahoe for 12 of the 12" sealed on one of our new 10,000.1d. I am really excited about how they sound and there ability to hit 20hz notes with percision.

10,000.1d amp..........woah! Any updates on new amps?

Yanks, fo realz? I'm sure this thing would get nasty loud while wooing your girlfriend and NOT calling her back, ouch. Not sure over an L7 but I havn't heard one of these and from what I have heard a single L7 is mostly meh (15" in a huge box)

Hey Steve, how are these comparable to the classics, both being 10"s, I've talked to you on the phone a few times about running two 10"s in a std cab F150...would the elites fit? how would they perform against the classics? besides power handling...

They have the ability to get very loud But SQ is number one priority on there.

For a F150 they could work depending on the depth you have to use they will have a mounting depth of about 9" on the 12"

Dual 1.5 is what we went with because it was very tricky to get the design we wanted to work correct with the height of the coil and the weight of the coil and the thermal capabilities of it. Once wired in a box you end up with a .8 to .9 load if you parallel the coils so a 1 ohm mono amp will hold fine. They have the ability to get around a 145 in a trunk car with reccomended power in a correct small ported enclosure with still having great SQ. Besides the number they also sound very loud and smooth to the ear like our Alpha series. We have never tested them in a 55hz box or anything to see about pure spl. We tested them in sealed 1 cube 1.25 cube/ 1.6 cube/ 2.0 cube/ ported @ 20hz/ @ 25hz/ 30hz/ 36hz/ all boxes were about 1.2 to 1.7 after displacement.

i could have just missed it but what sizes are available? 10, 12, 15? just 12?

also, that makes sense with the dual 1.5 ohm...

go for it. but id check the mounting depth man. your not gonna have much room, but this would match up perfect with your amp your running right now. i bet it gets pretty loud. but if its not too deep itd be perfect for you. small ported enclosure would be awesome for that truck your getting...(hopefuly) or you can get that ext cab hehe. lol

Steve mentioned the mounting depth for the 12" but not the 10".....:-( 9" is wayyyyy too much, unless I get the ext cab, then I might just get another Alpha v1 if there are any left....and then go for the meddlin or the 1750.1 :-)

steve, is that $250 shipped on the pre-order sales? and if we order before christmas, we get the price? is there a certain amount that you have available? do you have any numbers with the new elites yet from playing with them?
sorry for all the questions, just curious about it....thanks

Its 250+shipping but we get great rates on shipping.Yes the sales is to Christmas. In a trunk car with a single subwoofer with 1000-1200 you will be in the mid 140's they werent designed for numbers but you can drive them hard. The voil is 55mm tall and will take a good bit before heating up. The other thing is they sound clean and full so they actually will sound louder then they meter.

If you want to go ported there are many options. For my listening taste i liked the 2.4 cube before displacement tuned to 30HZ. But more people with me liked the 2.6 tuned to 25hz. They still have great output sealed also. I am building my 2003 tahoe out with 12 of them sealed in a V shaped wall to use at our booths. We are also running them sealed in the SQ car we are building.

Wow, sounds fun. That's 2.4/6 per sub? Hmm. I think I could pull that. I would probably tune to 30 Hz, maybe 28. Hmm. Considering I want it ridiculously loud (relative my current system), while still sounding good, and I have 4 possible kW, I might go with some Alpha 12s. What's the mounting depth on the 12" Alpha?

Yes we are working on the omega, Truthfully the elite surpassed what we thought on performance so we are changing a few things on the omega to ensure there not to close together.
