I assume this is an extended cab? Also do you want a musical box or flat out one note wonder?

they are in a suzuki aerio sx (SMALL) hatchback. I could get maybe 3.0 cu. ft of airspace max,and no I don't want a one note system if I can get loud without it thanks

sorry for some reason I thought the thread said S10 in it LOL....go 1.4 cubes net each ported to 35 hz stuff it with 1 pound of polyfill each chamber and the subs will see a boosted airspace of 2.00 cubic feet....run the port tune on a calculator at 2.00 cubic feet is the next step

1.4 cubic feet net means after the sub and port so your best bet is pvc style ports

thanks. I had been told you could not use polyfill in a ported box because it would blow out the port tube

all you do is put a peice of mesh on the port end that is inside the box, ive done it before and it worked fine, i used a peice of screen from a screen door and put it on using an elastic or some some tape...

I have a slot ported box for two round 10s that is 2.2 cu.ft. I have not cut it for square subs because I thought it was too small, but if I can stuff it I might give it a shot. what do you think? thanks and happy thanksgiving

as far as the polyfill I should say get the kind in sheet form and then staple or glue it to the box walls...that other box is too small

imo i wouldn't stuff the box. 1-1.25 is fine for a 10 ported.

i would shoot for like 1.25 after everything per sub and use a couple 4" aero ports or just 1 6" aero port.

if you could give me a few dimensions i could figure something out.

the box i have works out to 1.13cu. ft net after speaker displacement tuned to 36hertz. being that i have it i am going to give it a try, if it sounds like $h/t i'll build a box about 1.5 per sub thanks everybody
