ok i noticed on my hu i have a feature but i cant figure out what it does or what its for it say SLA and i can tune it from -4 to +4

with my old pio h/u (5800) the sla feature acted like the treble. dunno y u dnt hear a diff. but i def. heard a big difference when i played with the SLA.

Some HUs have feature that's supposed to "lift the soundstage", thats probably what it is. IMO those things sound like complete crap on.

hey, does anyone have a pic, or know where I can find a pic of the back of the Premier 580MP, I am installing it in my girls car but I think it's missing the remote wire out....can anyone help?

rem wire should be blue with a white stripe...

also sla stands for sound level audio. it boots the level of whatever it's set to so say a song is real low on the cd you use that to boost the cd's sound output. each function, ipod, cd, radio should have thier own sla.

it adjusts the level so when you switch from radio to ipod it isnt really loud it levels out the volume for each mode

ok thanks you all i was wounding what it did becuz when i missed with it i made the bass louder in some and in others it made the terrible louder
