so i just bought the new HDC315 and im going to power it with my kicker zx1000.1 which is 2ohm stable. So how would i wiring the sub then? im confused any help would be great even pics. thanks again guys.

Wire the coils in series. Wire one coil's + to the other ones -, leaving you with one + and one - that you will wire to the amp.

i asked the guy from audioque and he said just wire it parallel to acheive the 2ohm load.

NO!!!

Do not wire it Parallel! That will give you a 1/2ohm load.

Wire it in SERIES!!!

really why did the guy from audioque tell me parallel then? i want 2ohm stable for my amp and i will only be having one sub

Your sure he said parallel to achieve a 2 ohm load?
Doesn't sound right to me, DJ got D1 and D2 coils, he can't parallel either of those to a 2 ohm load.

Wire it in series, like the picture above shows.

Take a multimeter and check the + and - of each coil to make sure its dual 1 ohm. It wont be exactly 1 ohm but roughly.

Two 1 ohm coils wired in parallel = .5 ohm

Two 1 ohm coils wired in series = 2 ohms


This ain't rocket science.........
