I bought 2 Polk MOMO MM2124DVC subwoofers. Now i need an enclosure. THey recommend that i get a sealed enclosure with .88 cubic feet. My question if if there will be any difference in going with the enclosure that is .88 and one that is 1.25. The reason is ask is because i can get the 1.25 cubic feet enclosure for about $25 and the .88 cubic feet enclosure is $52. Is it worth the difference in price?

Here are all the parts that i talked about:

Subs:http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/products/subs/12inch/mm2124dvc/

SubZone - H-212LQ (.88 cubic feet):http://www.subzoneusa.com/dual_hatch.htm

Q-Logic - QLH-12D125 (1.25 cubic feet):http://www.qlogicenclosures.com/c-4631-qlh-12d125.aspx

if you have to use those enclosures the subzone would be the best

if you go with the larger enclosure it will help you to hit lower with the subs but they usually dont hit as tight as they would in the smaller enclosure.....the compromise with the .88 you can test the subs as it is and see how deep the subs hit.....but if you want the subs to see more airspace you can add like a half pound of fiberfill to .75 pounds per chamber and see how you like it and it could boost the airspace as much as 30 to 35 %

Do you realize that the enclosure is more important than the sub(s) in it? It will make or break the system.

If you can't build one, thats what custom builders are here for:
