Hi i am having a major problem i can not get my Rockford 1000 BD out of protect mode i have connected to multiple audio systems and i came to the conclusion it is definitely the amp ??? is there any way that i can figure out exactly what part is going bad inside, there is no burning smell and all i get is a burp when i connected it and then no audio ... I appreciate the feedback, Thank You

You need an extensive knowledge of electronics to repair amplifiers. You will probably have to send to RF or an amp repair place.

well I have a good friend that repairs all types of electronics for a living but not specifically amps, I just wondering if maybe some one has a break down on what controls the amp going into protect mode or just a full diagram of what everything does .

This may be useful to your friend if he has worked on other electronics but not amplifiers:
