I have a 91 Honda civic Hatchback, it has just a lil 10" rockford fosgate p2 and a lil infinity amp for a bit of bass, my bday and christmas is coming up, so time for a new system, i want some pretty good bump, but not too muchg power i have kicker 0 gauge wiring kit already, i probably dont want an amp and sub anything over 1500 watts rms, help me pick out an amp and sub(s), i dont really want to spend over 800 bucks, remember i live in southern ontario close to the border so we have to include shipping, the cheaper the better, thanks guys, post or email me at chrismaskell1@gmail.com thanks

How much space do you have? I live in Canada, too, and I went with Mach 5 Audio for subs, because they're Canadian, so no customs BS. I got a pair of Maw 12s and I love em. Nice and loud, sound good and they're built very well. If you can fit them, a pair of Maw 15s in a sealed box with one of these amps would be awesome.

No customs on those, and it's $300 shipped. You could run it at 2 ohms and just be easy on the gain.

Here's the Mach 5 site. The Maw 15s are out of stock now, but you can email them to see when they'll have em, or the 12s would be great ported, which is what I did.

$96 shipped for the 12", $115 shipped for the 15".

If you do decide to buy that amp, make sure you get references and pics of the equipment, with his name and the date on a piece of paper.

An Xtant amp:

In that hatch back, you would probably be fine with that amp and a pair of Maw 12s ported. Won't take much to get loud.

Somewhere between 1000W RMS - 1500W RMS to the pair. Not even a warm cone after ten minutes of bumpin' as hard as that will push em without clipping. F.ckin' amazing for the $165/pair that I paid.

If you want to buy new, this would be a great amp.
