Anyone here have speakers free-air on the rear deck of their vehicle, with a sub in the trunk?

Was wondering if the pressure built from the sub would damage the rear speakers..

You don't need rear speakers to begin with

You will get more benifit from taking them out and having the trunk vented to the cabin though the speaker openings.

It's in a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird.

3.5" speakers up front, she needs her rear speakers.

If it was gonna be a decent system I would make kick panels or something for it and do exactly what you said, but don't got the time and too much work for a small system.

Rearfill is completely opinionated. I've heard systems that sound great with rearfill and without.
