Post Number: 5649 Registered: Jul-06 | You're talking about Polecat and yea...it's kind of stupid for Kicker to invest so much into research and development and not to mass produce them in my opinion.They're probably very expensive to build but they claim they've spent 4 years making the amplifier...so you'd think that they would try to get their money back,I guess they're hoping the comp scene brings their name out more so.Although I just typed the above when I re-think things I feel like an idiot,this is KICKER we're talking about,I think they have an endless supply of money already lol.Think of how many kids are running CVRS and L7s and crap like that lol... |

Gold Member Username: LoudonPost Number: 1929 Registered: Jun-04 | kicker is the biggest car audio company in my honest opinion .. when i worked at circuit city ... a kicker rep came into the shop and state that from are one location they made over 150k in sales ... which prolly turns out to be around 65k in profit...after advertisements, promotions, product costs,depreciation of product .. etc i think the amp will be used in comps for a year or so .. so power reviews will be stated by the competitors ... like for example .. the sx1250 was in production a year and a half before it was released to the general public ... idk why they do that but as much as people hate on kicker woofers ... that amplifiers and custy service is some of the best ive seen |
