Matching amps with subs

ok, from what i understand matching subs with the same brand amps is the best way to get the most out of the sub(s).

Nah thats not true because what if a company makes great subs but no amps? or if They make good subs but horrible amps.

Looks are the only advantage since they will match up in colour etc. But i dont think youll be looking at your equipment while driving hehe. Performance wise, no advantage...
