I believe the BTL and BL are not designed for sealed boxes.

The Q will work good in sealed though.

I would go with a Q- the btl will not give you the response you'd want sealed. And if you aren't looking for a lot of bass surely it wouldn't be a consideration. The Q will have good output and sound very good sealed. There are numerous amps that will power that sub nicely. I'd get the bp option and a sundown 1500 and call it a day. You never said what size sub you were getting.

I was looking more toward a 15 inch sub, but now im able to go ported since i have room. how about a kicker amp would that be ok, cuz i got hook-ups with circuit city.

Kicker has some nice stuff. You can only order kicker once a year though if you're working there. I'd order some of those solo-x's at the same time and sell them for a profit (and still a discount to others ;) )

please don't seal put the btl's in a sealed box. it sounds like crap. put it in a low tuned box and it will sound clean. put it in a bit higher tuned box and it will hit like no other.

damn i miss my btls.
