on my pioneer HU (7800), it has the feature where you can change the backgroud to show voltage/rpms/etc....i was looking at it while i drove today and was checking it out....my voltage stayed between 13.2-13.9 the whole drive home....how accurate is it? im guessing its not real accurate....

Your best bet is to compare it next to a DMM and you'll see the difference or how accurate it is.

I use a cheapo unit. $5. Ya know what? Works well. I know this cause I compare it to the readings I get from my $260 Xantrex meter I use with my solar setup.
