ok how about 4 12" cvrs would that be possibly louder than both my L7s i would be giving the four 12s 1500 watts

i could get all four for 300 shipped which is pretty cheap for 4 12"s in my opinion

4cvrs would be pretty nice, as long as u could power them and get them in a nice enclosure...

whats the smallest ported enclosure i could probably get away with? and 1500 watts should do the trick right?

2000rms is what I would shoot for..and about 7-8cuft ported tuned to about 34hz would be nice

so with 2 k rms an HO alt would definately be needed hu well i was trying to stay in small budget i can get all 4 12"s for 300 build the box for roughly around 80 dollars or cheaper and i could get a brand new db drive amp that does 1.5k for 250 shipped but i guess i'll look for a bigger amp and try to find a cheap HO alt

cheaper...Get a Hifonics bxi2006 or something like that...and yes u would need to upgrade ur electrical system...

what are you talking about those amps are around 330 shipped thats way more than 250 shipped and i thought they were overrated too

its the cheapest amp i can think of that puts out about 2000rms...*at least 1800*...and yes they are overratted...but so is the db drive

well 330 shipped still aint bad but i'm thinking about just doing the big three and getting a durabrand alt with lifetime warranty

J/W - why did u dump the L7s and not have a better option lined up to replace them?

IMO - the 2 L7s will still be louder than 4 cvrs.
