i was thinking about painting my box, is there any special procedure to do this.

I mean any special paint or sanding to be done?

just wondering.....

Fill your screw holes and sand smooth. Did you use MDF?

thats why i wanted to paint it....

Im not sure ill do good carpeting it, plus i think the paint would be cheaper

ohh re audio sx and jbl 1200 the perfect combo :-) im jelous :-)


anyway its easy.... sand it prime it sand it prime it and sand it paint it and clear coat it and thats it

ok sounds good, i probably would have just painted it once...


O i got rid of the sub and the amp, and downgraded to the jbl bp300.1 with a ID12 V.3.

I dont wanna go DEAF, just want to have a lil bass....lol

Exactly what you need to know. No pictures but a good step by step process if you want that "shine" or smooth painted look.
