what do you mean in the bed? are you saying cut away part of the truck to have the subs pointing in the cab or are you meaning to put subs in the bed then cover it with a bed cover?

do a blow through. meaning truck bed covered, subs in box and amps and batts in bed. hole cut in between the bed and back of cab allowing sound to go thru. hard to do though.

hurricane brian are you drunk or an idiot....

by the way tony, im sure you know this but if you have the king cab or even a single cab, you could get a nice system goin without invading the bed...

to put subs in the bed i THINK you'll have to someway cut into the cab to get the sound in and idk if you wanna do that on a 06 truck if ya dont know what youre doin...

You won't get any bass if the subs are outside the cabin

Like people are saying you can do a cut-through though.

Actually... i have a friend with a ford lightning and he has 2 subs in the truck and 4 in the bed. the bed is carpeted and has a toneau cover. we just installed the 4 in the bed last weekend and there is a noticable difference... i didn't think it would work, but it did. maybe it has something more to do with vibration and "bass shake" than with actual music reproduction??

dont do a blow through cause the bed is separate from the cab and there is flex between the two. so if you have a box in between the two the box will get ruined idk i just dont approve of blowthroughts imo. try putting small subs under the seat

Well monkeyman I think you should go tell the competitors with cut-through installs that they did it all wrong.
