why is it my kickers are sounding like there skipping beats like around the real low sounds there in a sealed box

what do you mean by skipping the low beats? like not playing it? if so maybe your ssf is set too high.

huh how do you turn your LPF of on your amp or HU

i dont have a SSF it just doesnt play the notes at all i need to get a video but i only have my phone

Kicker makes great products for the money! but everything brakes at some point.

Sounds like your woofer is poping as in bottoming out. This can happin when the spider get wipped/old and the cone travels to far.

What model of subs are they. Their square ones sound like crap even when nothings wrong with them.

gahh im so sick of this bashing kicker things ...

cmon now ... sound is obviously subjective to whoever listens to as its been stated forever ...

regardless .. what size box ... u might be suffocating the subs .. please specify ... its always good to make a box with proper specs ...

yeah, it sounds like you're "choking em up" meaning the box ain't big enough

I was always told to turn the lpf to its lowest when sealed. Thats what I meant by off. I should have explained it a little better.

The LPF on the amps he has only plays down to 32Hz, perhaps thats the reason for the beats missing.

naledge, you on crack today? the LPF should be set in the 60-85hz range its the one that cuts out the high notes. your thinking sub sonic filter.

lol....no crack...I'm hangin though and when I posted the first time in this thread, I was drunk as hell. I cant think straight at all today. Yeah I am thinking sub sonic filter.

i have the 10 inch 2007 series CVR's and the box is .80cuft for each chamber but i can get another one built pretty cheap if thats my problem
