The box is crap and here's why:

Look at the slot ports, notice the top and bottoms at the front, they are not even/flush with the top and bottom and the carpet is folded into the port openings, not to mention they don't tell you what the port tuning is for the volume stated.

But, hey, it's your money.

Chris,

Just some friendly advise, there are more than enough people on this forum " That know what there doing " and making comments contrary to that effect are going to get you "pwnd" in more ways than one.

i got them a sealed box 1.34 sq ft per sub, sounds alot better then the little boxes i had with under a cube of airspace, they sound good just wired up to 8 ohms on my 660 watts surround system, cant wait to get them 500 rms watts a piece going to them, theres somethang i noticed in the manual when i was looking at air space reccomendations,it says put 50 % poly fill in them, why i thought u only done that when u didnt have enough airspace, does it make them sounder better deeper or is it just a waist of time

Really what you have to decide is if you want quality or quantity? Personally, our shop nevew builds a box without poly-fill, but that is just 7 years of hands on experience talking there. I coulnt tell you how volume of it you need, just fill it loosely. When someone says, "leave poly-fill out", to reach higher decibels, what there really telling you is, "Take tylenol to make tour wang bigger"!
