Ok, so i have had my system for around 6 months now. I have to say that im still pretty pleased with it, i just want to upgrade to something louder. I have way more money now than i did when i bought all my old stuff, so i plan on getting one of RE's more powerful models.

Right now i have 2 15'' RE SR series subs...and a 1000w amp. What should i do with all of it? Should i sell it? Should i keep it or atleast keep the box? Idk what to do...

Should i get a ported box? I know it would be louder but would it sound as good? And if i get a ported box does it matter where the port and the subs are positioned? like subs back port back or subs up port up
