open shoulder capsule adjustment? somehting like that, they are tightening the ligaments in the front of my shoulder to keep it from dislocating. it will be done oct 15. sling with lil movement for 6 weeks, and 6 weeks with a touch more movement,t hen therapy, for another 6 weeks, its gonna be a push to get back to the way i want to be before summer, its gonna be a long haul.
Maybe football isn't worth it?That's something to think about.I wouldn't play unless I knew I was making it big and could afford to somewhat disabled/impaired.
yeah i dont play anymore, this summer i got letters from k state, ok state, baylor, Nrth Texas, Sam Houston, kansas, and 3 small schools in oklahoma, but its still not worth it for me. i started two years on the varsity team, fresh and sophomore, im now a junior and just watch from the sidelines.
If you are still in school having these surgeries then already you are telling people this isn't for you. Nobody would invest real money in a healing body, fact... Hope all is well, so what are you majoring in, that is the REAL question you should be asking yourself....Polo
hey man.. i feel your pain. i play tennis for my schools (Saint Louis University) team and i tore my ACL and had surgery june 5th and i'm just now getting back to the way i was. i played varsity soccer and tennis all through high school and making a tennis team was my dream.. and then i tore my ACL playing a stupid pick up game of backyard soccer.. who ever would have guessed, huh? but it sucks.. my tennis game suffered big time and i'm just now getting back to the way i used to play. i did intense PT until the end of august and now i'm doing hardcore weight lifting.. i'd say you're prolly in for the same thing. good luck man.
Kid i graduated with tore his ACL in the last game of the season, but had a full ride to play football...kept his full ride and first practice of college tore it again...
yes, and i love milk, drank when i was little all the time..
my doctor called me anatomly unstable.
every ligament i have is un stable, my knees are extremely loose, my ankles roll with ease, my shoulders both slide out, it sucks. so in my case surgery makes me better than before.
