Need help and advice for subs

New member Username: Dc_shawtyPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-07 | i have 2 12 inch rockford fosgate p3's 1000 watts each powered by 2 sony xplod amps that do 1000 watts of power. im gettin a range rover soon and i am going to keep the rockford fosgates as well as get 2 15" kicker L7 solo baric.... i need to know whats the best way to set up my system as well as what amplifiers is best for my system. i want spl but sql wouldnt be a problem either... thanks |

Post Number: 5253 Registered: Feb-06 | 1) don't mix sub sizes like that. even if they are the same model, but never crap subs like you mentioned. 2) post rms for subs/amps. peak/max mean nothing and help no one out when trying to help you. 3) buy something other than the l7 unless you are just going after cheap spl. 4)get rid of those rf subs, they suck. as well as the sony amps, if you're lucky you can sell them but more than likely you'll have to throw them away since they aren't worth the money you spent on them. 4) post a budget for subs and amp/s and you'll get better advice. 5)if you can afford a range rover, why you have such crap stuff? j/w, cause someone must have steered you way wrong. |
