People die from having subs hit them when they get in an accident. I'd keep sh!t like that from your backseat.

Any unsecured object in a collision is a projectile. Even soccer cleats.

Didn't mythbusters see what would happen with a tissue box when you got in a collision?

Rob, I sure can try to find it. I've read more than one, so hopefully I can. Give me a bit. Common sense tells you a heavy object will mess you up in a collision- even collapsing your seats as it comes forward. God I hope I can find the article.

A heavy metal sub smacking the back of the head at 60 mph might just hurt a lil bit

You got done fiberglassing which leaks, in the box or the trunk? Reason being it gets louder when you open the trunk is because you let the cancellation rear wave out, allows more of the front wave to hit your ears. This is also one of the reasons when you open your windows it also gets louder, all about cancellation. Polo..

Still looking. Colby- exactly. My wife's car got hit a year or two ago, and her car was totaled. The cd player that had been installed came right out of the dash and ended up in the back- and she was rear-ended. I'll see if I can't find something..

speaking of car audio deaths i read about someone who was drilling in the back of their car to either ground a wire or cut a hole to put a wire through, but he hit the gas tank and a spark ignited it and his car blew up and killed him

^^^ Ryan, that would be a freak accident! The concentration of fumes in the tank would be high enough not to allow ignition unless under extreme pressure and heat. I know a little about explosives and matter of fact I use to change out fuel pumps with a lit cigarette in my mouth and never had a problem... Polo..
