i plan on doing the big 3 myself. find a friend who is a mechanic or knows exaclty what wires are which then add to what is there.

dude you dont do chassis to engine... on the alternator theres bolts that makes the alternator.. all the alternator case is ground.. see where the voltage regulator is it says "test for ground" put the wire with a ring terminal on the alternator bolt then connect it to the battery -..

then the red or positive wire from the alt to the +..

then form the battery - it has wire that run to the pieces of the body they are mainly next to the radiator unbolt them.. sand them and scrapae all paint and run wires from battery - to that place dont take out the stock wires juzz add them to it..

http://www.carstereo.com/installs/photo_gallery_album.cfm?photoid=49548&galleryi d=3393&startrow=13&maxrows=12

thats my big 3... the blue wire is the pos and the silver is the neg... see the neg is connected to one of the bolts of the alternator casing???
