Fiberglass inside box?

Would applying fiberglass resin to the inside of my box seal it good? If it would could i just brush the sh1t on or do i have to sand it to?

its already glued and it is leaking everywhere the guy that built it didnt do a very good job on it...so would that help

i plan on doint that to my new box glassing the entire thing that will seal off the air no matter how good or bad the cuts are

yeah but not just straight resin im puttin some material over it im glassin my new one

i resined my old box entirly but no material

Honestly I wouldn't add glass, it doesn't readily bond to wood, especially MDF. You might get away with it with a more porous material like OSB or such, MDF is just to smooth, may come loose while you are bumping...Polo.

Same thing as MDF, it is just the fact it isn't porous, maybe roughen it up a little with 80 grit. Polo..
