So I'm awaiting two brand new Eclipse sw8200's to put in my car. But, in the mean time I had one old Infinity referecnce rated at 300w RMS SVC. I hooked up my Power Acoustik A3000DB replacing my JBL BP600.1 and hooked it up to my Infinity Reference.
I was amazed at how much louder and clear it is. It definitely was not getting enough power before. It's probably the combination of the new amp and wires.
Before it was running at 300w at 4 ohms (the rating of the JBL). Now the Power Acoustik is hooked up rated at (1300w at 4 ohms I believe. But I have it turned to half power of course.
I'm just surprised by how amazing it sounds now and how loud it gets. I definitely did not use this sub to its full potential because for its 300w rating it F***ing pounds!
These new Eclipse's will most likely blow it out of the water though. Can't wait.
