Box building questions

i'm really new to box building..and i am confusing myself with the dimensions for the box... i'm doubling on the front of the box and seperating the chamber of the box... it's a wedged box and i can give anyone who is willing to help the dimensions of the space i'm willing to use in my trunk... i am just wondering what would be the best way to figure it out... :-)
