well just cuz its easier do to space issues and no ho alt.id be better to get 2 12's that require less air space, and get some pollyfill, and run it 750 watts 2 ohms instead

2 RE8s,PG Xenon 400.1, 135.5dbs!!!!

ok, my 2 cents. I have 2 RE8's in a 1.5cube ported box, tuned to 35hz....I had them running off of a Phoenix Gold Xenon 400.1, before it died on me...and I hit 135.5db at a local competition...this is in a Dodge Neon, so a trunk install.
Definately some good subs, everyone was like "Holy crap, those are only 8's?"

They are rated only 175rms each, but the Xenon put out 425 watts, so I was actually giving them 212.5watts each. And I have been told that they can take up to 250-300 watts each daily, IF you're careful with the gain.

damn thats good but its alittle to crazy to fit 6 of them behind a truck seat,i got a better idea what do yall thank of 2 12 inch se's in sealed boxes with .85 air space each.i will probably put polyfill in the since they need one cube of airspace each

ook. wiring on 7 subs on one amp is going to be a terrible load. habve you figured that out? you might want to do 6 or 8 and buy 2 amps.
