I have em hooked up to a ma audio m700 xe. 1000 watt that supposedly is tested off of a 17volt batery? I checked and it runs 2ohm sterio 500 watts each. On a 12 volt looks like only 375 to 400? I had someone suggest splicin a mono block (his was 2600 watts) but I don't want to blow them. Thanks. |

Gold Member Username: Skibum12189Cleveland Post Number: 1690 Registered: Mar-06 | 500 each....the hifonics you would run at 2 ohms, meaning it won't be giving it 2000 rms...i dont know what the specs are exactly though... umm..it might be difficult to find an inexpensive amp that can do 1000 rms at 2 ohms for cheap...the kicker or the hifonics are your best bet.. ive owned hifonics brutus bxi and kicker zx models and IMO i prefer kicker over hifonics.... |
