time for an upgrade, i was gonna pull a Rob and just surprise everyone but im having trouble deciding on everything....some options ive looked at so far, but i am certainly open to more

im looking to run around 2k to 4k. i know its a big gap. lets assume ill have the proper charging system for either.

but some options ive looked at:

15" RD Alpha with RD 1750.1
15" Fi BTL with Kicker zx2500.1
15" DD 9500 with a 2.5k to 3k amp
15" Audioque HDC3 with 2k amp
i would like to try something from tc sounds/audiopulse but i doubt they'll have anything for sale when i buy
15" Sound Splinter RL-S with 2k amp

and i know im overlooking some more options so please let me know....i dont plan on buying for atleast another month, possibly more....just wanna get a step in front of the game so i know what i want so i know how much money i need to make....

depending on what ur looking for ...

and if u wanna keep ur backseat ... since i know the hatch in the scion isnt that big ...

i like my alpha ... its a great all around sub ...

the btl gets very loud ... mixed with the 2500 will be a great combo ...

the 9500 is an all around great woofer ... no one can knock that

the hdc3 is unproven

and the rl-s will get u the best sq of the bunch .. i dont think ull be dissapointed with any of the options

yea forgot to mention that....im gonna have to keep my backseat cause my dad is making me. if somehow he allows me to remove the backseat, ill definitly be running 2 15's back there....but i cant see that happening.

but in the trunk, i did quick dimensions about 6 months ago and came up with about 6-7 cuft i believe....but ill double check that tomorrow

yanks my vote goes for the alpha.
then the hdc3. and finally the 95.
reason i didnt include the btl is cause u have already experienced FI. expand ur horizons.

im gonna have the money for whatever i decide to get. obviously if what i want is expensive, then it'll take longer for me to get, but ive decided that whatever i really want, is how much im money im gonna save up.
the pair of mags souds very nice, but when do the new ones come out? it'd be a very tigt squezze back there with 2 15"s sealed but i mite be able to pull it off
the Q's, i didnt even consider them but they certainly are coming into play now i guess. 2 sealed would be very nice
the hdc3 would be nice to have cause the price tag is very nice and id be one of the first on this forum to have one.
JK, is the death penalty an spl sub? i dont know much about it but ill check it out.

Of the ones you listed, the combo that seems to most suit your wants is the BTL/ZX2500.

first off, get your own thread, but since your here, the L7's will be louder....

you could get 2 Q 15's sealed with that room and they work great with sealed setups. and they don't break the bank

Yanks, I have not played with a SS sub, but from listed, the Alpha would be the more dependable daily application driver. Gets loud and takes a beating. If you do go with the DD 95's, don't put over 1500 rms to them.
