99 Cutlass Stereo Help Needed

I have a Metra ALOC608 4-Channel Line Output Converter and I am trying to hook up amps/subs to my stock radio so questions i have is, is there a better converter to use where i wont have to cut my speaker wires and after i hook it up, do i still need my REMOTE wire for my amp? and if so where do i hook it up at?

Well you gotta tap it some how. The coverter will work fine for what you are doing. Dont cut the factory wires. There are some very good little wire taps you can use for the install. The fold over wire taps are the best when you install an after market converter to a factory deck. Easy and simple without the wire cutting.Factory color codes can be found here

The remote wire can be wired to the harness of the factory deck. It will power the amp on as soon as the car is started up. Just look for the factory radio remote wire or power antenna wire in the cars factory harness and tap into it there.
