From either a 12" Punch Stage 3 or a 12" Power Stage 1. Yeah I know there are a lot more better subs and why I am choosing a know brand and blah blah!!!! WHATEVER, WHICK ONE OF THOSE TWO??? Or would Kicker L5 or L7 be better? I'm wanting SQL.

I would take the power stage 1 between the 2 RF's. Don't get the L5's or L7's if you want SQ.

what amp will you be using to power the subs?

i would forsure take the T1 over the P3s. all of the punch series stuff from RF is crap, honestly crap. ive had friends with 10s 12s 15s in p1s-p3s and there all really weak.

the T1s are in no way a "good" sub but there a big step up from the punch. they are sloppy but in the right box can get pretty loud.

What about a T2, anyone got any opinions on those? I had a older 12" P3 and it got somewhat loud on 300wrms. Didnt have an amp at the time to push it all the way, but it was descent in my opinion.

i had 2 old rockford punch stage 1 15's,150 rms a piece they played good with them over the peak watts power, but got carried away and smoked them 15's dont work good in single cab truck, and i thank i pushed them just a lil to hard,i cant believe they sounded so good in boxes with the little amount of airspace they had,but thats the old ones, dont know anybody that has got the new ones, usually old stuff is made better anyways

can sell you a much better sql sub than any of those for cheap that'll be perfect with that power.:-) 12" tc9

but if going with those subs i guess the t1, but i'd honestly look into others.

I am thinkin of running a single sub in a sealed box. Its easy to see what is need for a sealed box, I donr want a pre-made ported box cuz most of the times the sub wont work along with a store bought ported box. CTMIKE how much for that sub?

never had it sealed, only ported @ 30hz. can tell you ported at 30hz. the sq is alot better than the type r (had them) sealed. and yes, it's dual 4ohm. black cone also.

So where do you rate the Type R in with the P3 and T1? Im interested in that TC9 but you said it shines in a ported box, you know of a place that will ship a box like that for cheap?

never said it shines ported, just only heard it ported. but sub is sold. if you do still want a tc9, go to www.tcsounds.com, online sales. they're $179 shipped and worth it imo. but there's only a few left so if wanting one grab it while you can.
