i know having your gain set too high could damage your sub. but i was wondering if having it low could damage the sub to. my friend has a dmm thing or whatever and he set is gain like perfect. but he thinks it sounds to bassy. he asked me if lowering the gain from the right setting would damage it and im like i dont f*cking know lol. so i was like ill just go on ecoustics and find out dont touch anything yet. would it?

The gain is nice for balancing but why invest in the bass if you don't plan to use it? Upgrade the front and let er rip!
