I have a DMM sorta like this it has the same settings on it and i was wondering:

1) Which setting do i use to set my gain
2) Which setting do i use to checy the volts going into my amp or what my battery floats at
3)It says it can measure RMS if its true what setting would i use for that?

Mine looks minds like this:

Check the book. Most DMM have diffrent settings for ac/dc range, as well as ac/dc amp range. But for the most part this is it. and the ohm setting is also the conntinutity setting, if you short the leads, it should beep, and read 0 ohms.
