just split the line and run the trigger to two amps.. slicing is fine. now it you plan to trigger more than three devices as a rule of thumb, you want to use a relay to boost current so you don't kill the head unit. the12volt.com has a diagram for the relay to run multiple amps and signal processors on one remote line.
