if an amp (any amp per say) says 600 watts rms @ 4omhs bridged and that amp is connected to two dual voice coils subs which RMS is also 600 watts wired into 4ohms, will the amp actually see the two subs as one sub and send out 600 watts or will the amp still see the subs as two subs and actually loose some power by splitting the wattage between the two subs.

600 watts across the board?
or
300 watts to each?

Always wanted to know who this really works!

it splits the power between the 2 speakers. Which would be 300RMS times 2 for a total of 600RMS. So 300 to each sub. if it is a 4 channel bridged. if 2 channel then each sub will still be getting 300RMS.

600w x 1 (bridged) @ 4 ohms
300w x 2 @ 2 ohms
150w x 2 @ 4 ohms
