I am about to install a kicker l7 15in sub and a Hifonics bxi 2006d amp(wired at 2 ohms about 1100 watts) with a Panasonic CQ-C8413U head unit. My question is am i going to need to upgrade my electrical system, or anything elese? Its a 03 ford explorer
no you shouldn't have to....unfortunately, the hifonics brutus series are not terribly efficient, so your lights may dim, btu theres a good chance they wont...if anything, id probably choose to sell the 2006 and get a kicker zx1000.1 for that l7 itd be a perfect combo...but no you shouldnt have to upgrade
