This is probably a dumb question, but I just got into subwoofers and I don't know that much about how all of the wiring works.

If you have a mono amp, would it be possible to wire a SVC 4 Ohm subwoofer along with a DVC 2 Ohm subwoofer? Would there be any reason to do this, or is it even do-able in the first place without ruining the subs??

Just a thought.

if both subs r the same series & same rated power then the sub with the lower ohms will get more power from the amp & i wouldnt advise both together

Hmm well one of my infinity reference subs doesn't work and they're single voice coil, the problem is I don't really see single voice coil reference subs for sale anywhere (i cant even find the same model looks-wise).

Is there a way I could wire a DVC sub so that it'll run identically to a SVC sub so that I can just use the newer version of the Infinity Reference?
