I just purchased 2 12" Infinity Subwoofers, I'm pretty confident they are references but here is a picture if anyone can identify it that'd be great:

Anyways, I also bought a 600.1 Class D mono JBL amp, and I have an enclosed box custom made for my Pontiac Firebird.

My first problem is, one of the subwoofers sounds cony (conie? i dont know how its spelled) or in other words it sounds high and doesn't sound right. The other one sounds fine. Does anyone know if the 1 sub is worthless or any possible fix solutions. I'm assuming its broken.

Well now for my main question, whats the best way for me to wire these subs? I do plan on replacing the one.

And for as long as I have just the one working one hooked up, whats the best way to wire that one?

All help is appreciated! Thanks!

I unscrewed the broken subwoofer and it is an Infinity reference 300w RMS 1220 Peak, and it is only Single Voice coil... Hope this helps.
