ok well i have a 85 subaru wagon, and i pulled off the head liner today. the roof has oem braces that were siliconed to the roof. well i found out that all of those braces were loose. sowhat i need help with is my options. so should i cut out all of the braces and dynamat it, then put a single piece of mdf up there, liq nails that down then deaden it, or shoule i reglue the brace down better, deaden it all then cut mdf strips put those down then deaden that and then brace it. but im sure how to brace the mdf either way. not sure if i want to put bolts through my roof. you guys have any good ideas?
yeah i took a few ill have to post them. they sre just cross brace that run horizontal on the roof about every 10 inches. and every damn one of them came loose.
