my amp goes into protect mode very quick, i havent cranked the gain and never hit less than 12.9, so im guessing that the amp has something screwed up with it somewhere. do any of you guys a good place to send an amp for repair?

Well, if you don't mind opening up the amp and checking around to see what the problem could possibly be. First thing I would look at are the FETs. They are located on both sides of the amp.
